Was a member but let it lapse. I found the content of the club magazine too technical for me although I go to the rally every year . Great rally with lots of goodies . Many of the rallies here in the UK are just crammed with commercial sellers selling what they do in the shops . Rishworth rally for the GQRP club is a "real" rally with lots of "junk boxes" kits etc ..
People from all over the world attend .. and is the only rally I enjoy .

I am - member 11767. Always look forward to reading Sprat, and am currently reading through the old ones on the Sprat CD. Excellent.
But, one thing I feel lets it down is the lack of facility to post pictures and files and articles etc to the forum. Although Yahoo groups offers that option, the forum owner staunchly refuses to enable it because of the likelihood of extra workload. I respect the decision as it's their forum, however it forces me to go elsewhere, and I'm sure it's the same for others too, and this leads to a lack of forum activity.

Hi Pet.
I agree with you what you say about publishing photographs. They are necessary, certainly.
However, it is possible to find some solutions.
When I can“t post photos somewhere I use the free google pages, are simple and very practical, may be a solution. Not the best, but at least you can publish your work with photos.
I've done it some occasion, for example here:

But the real fun for me is in the building ! The GQRP CD for back articles is a really neat item, all of the past projects are on the disc.

Hi all
My GQRP No. is 8090 and I live in NE England.
I'm CW only and get on 40, 30, 20, 15m fairly frequently with my TenTec Century-22, and just occasionally 12 and 10m, but my home antenna exposure isn't great and the QRM level is pretty high in town, so that doesn't help me hear QRP stations either! I do tend to go QRO with 10W to improve my chances ...
I'm intending QRP/P operation from more promising local sites next year so hopefully things will look up a bit and perhaps I'll manage a QSO with some of you! This year I just managed 3 short QRP/P trips: Isle of Skye EU-008, Lindisfarne EU-120 and Republic of Ireland EU-115 (with my MFJ-9020 and NorCal doublet antenna).
