I live in Central Florida and have returned to Ham Radio as a hobby after a 23 year hiatus. So far my wife is in favor of this.
I try to make at least one contact every night after dinner. Since June of last year, I have completed WAS, WAC, DXCC, and other "nice" awards on HF with about an equal cw to ssb ratio. I often use at Ten-Tec 515 transceiver for QRP work with homemade wire antennas. QRO work is barefoot with a Ten-Tec Omni VI, an inverted vee and 5 band trapped vertical (Hustler) with radials.
