New to QRP
« on: January 13, 2016, 00:11:06 UTC »
Hello all!

I just got started in amateur radio a little over a year ago, and have enjoyed it thoroughly!

My QTH is Rexburg, Idaho. There are lots of mountains in the area, and I'm hoping to get involved with SOTA this summer. A necessary first step is operating QRP.

Within the last few months I've managed to acquire an HB-1B, tuner, and EFHW. As soon as the weather cooperates, I'll get the wire in the air!

Welcome Kevin, and sure we should meet on the air around the QRP frequencies.

Sure you shall have fun with this nice and simple set-up.
Your mountains are higher than the ones we have here

Take care & have fun everyday
