New to the club
« on: December 01, 2016, 03:12:31 UTC »
Hello QRP'ers!!!
Glad I found this group as retiring from work next week.  Looking forward to much more ham radio QRP time with my Heathkit HW-8 that I built as a kit in the late '70's.  I like the QRP cluster and sched utilities associated with this awesome group.  Please listen for my micro signal on 20 and 40 meters!

Hi Joe and welcome. Hope you enjoy QRPing with your HW-8.
Looking forward to working you before too long - I'm often on 20m with the antenna pointed across the pond and work into NA most weeks.

Hi Pierre!

Thanks for the message.  I'd would like to try an cross-Atlantic QRP scheudule with you sometime!  That would be a first for me!
