Registered a couple of months ago, thought I'd better say hi.
I like to play qrp while out portable which is usually on the Akamas Peninsula here on the west coast of Cyprus. I use a FT-817nd and a Transworld Traveller 2010L antenna, no atu or external power required with this set-up. I've spent many a happy hour experimenting with antennas for portable use and believe I've got it about right, well until the next project comes to mind!
Well I hope to catch some of you on air sometime.
