Hi, I am Paul from Bend Oregon USA. I run QRP on an Elecraft K1 and KX3; also a little more power on a K2.
I like to sea kayak around the San Juan Islands in northern Washington and around Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. If I can fit a rig in, I bring it with me. I often use a vertical or Alex Loop for antenna. Bend is right in the middle of the state of Oregon, near the Cascades Mountain Range and I hope to try a little SOTA this summer.
