Maybee my qrp qso for the year
« on: February 10, 2014, 21:19:24 UTC »
There were only five QSOs in the day , but two of them were hearty QRP qso , n.  How about Reunion Island with TO7CC in 12m 11:36 599-599 . 5980 Miles and 1196 Miles per Watt
http://www.to7cc.com
.
The second was probably the best and longest of which is available on this planet. First , I drove north and then south , then I discovered after about 45 minutes to the antenna I ran on not turning , dipoles do not usually do that. I switched over to the beam and see, it became difference, the other station’s signal strength banged up against 599 in the peaks , this should I get even with 5W . Consider some strategic now , shouting that as hell…. or something…
After about 10 minutes , it was unsettling quiet at frequency as he listened to ( split operation ), so I hit my call anyone on again and see woe and horror marzipan and Martians , it was ME he replied, we shared signal report easily and quickly. PUUUH
Whoever it was? Well.. it was RI1ANT Mikhail at Mirny base at the South Pole . 17m at 4.16 PM, 599 – 599 , my power 5W to an ordinary three elements 2 band wark beam .
9525 Miles and 1196 Miles per Watt , or 15328 Km and 3666 Km per Watt . 167 QRP cw qso will start to produce results.

Best regards, 72 de SM5MEK, Jenny.
