My names is Jim (N5NVP) and I am a new member of QRPCLUB.ORG. Thanks for inviting me to join. I am 74 years of age and have been a Ham for 41 years. About 98% of my operation is via CW using J-38, J-47, J-48, J-49 and single and double lever paddles. My thrill is high speed CW, however; I slow down and use a J-38 for most of my QRP work. I work lots of QRP as well as QRO between 10 & 100 Watts. I run mostly homebrew antennas, and a G5RV driven by homebrew QRP & homebrew Kit QRP rigs plus also an IC7000, Yaesu 897 & FT 450 rig. I am a Lifetime member of ARRl and my club affiliations consist of QCWA #33555, FISTS #11040, SKCC 1614, NAQCC #6485, QRP ARCI #12303, AKQRP #597, and QRP Flying Pigs #2368. I am the Louisiana Section Traffic Manager, the LA LCW high speed CW Traffic Net Manager as well as the LA LSN Slow Speed CW Traffic Net Manager. Additionally, I am the LA Section Affiliated Club Coordinator. I thoroughly enjoy operating Amateur Radio stations. 72/73 Jim N5NVP
