Hello all,

I have good news, CQ Magazine now offers a plaque for the 5 watt winner of the DX MARATHON, 2014 will be the first year a plaque is being awarded to the winner. I encourage all reading this to enter the 5 watt catagory and give QRP DXERS a voice, we now have something to compete for rather than an emailed certificate.

The marathon starts Jan 1 each year and runs till Dec 31, goal is to work as many countries and CQ zones as possible, here is their website - dxmarathon.com 
Its never too late to enter, I entered the 2011 marathon in mid Oct and still finished 2nd so everyone has a chance and its a great way to stay active and hone your qrp skills.
