Hi from ON6KZ.
« on: July 21, 2015, 08:44:57 UTC »
Hello,
Let me introduce myself. I am Peter Kempenaers, born 1966, chemist. Started SWL in 1978 with  old Tokyo and Minix receivers on my boysroom. Licensed ON6KZ since 1989. I was very active in the period 1990-2000. Had big antennas and lots of power. But went QRT in 2000 due to lack of interest, changed family circumstances (kids) and a move to another house.  A few months ago the radio microbe began to itch again. Now I have a low profile station. Yaesu FT100 and FT817. Screwdriver antenna about 6 meters above ground, magnetic loop, dipoles.  Only QRV in CW, QRP most of the time. 14060 is my preferred frequency.  I like being  portable. Watch my qrz.com page for pictures. Interested in SOTA-program. Have little experience with homebrew, but have plans to build a tiny QRP-transceiver during the cold winterevenings.
73s from Averbode, Belgium.
Peter.
